Research on Emergency Collision Avoidance System of Man-Machine Cooperative Driving Vehicles Based on Additional Yaw Moment Control

Drivers of man-machine cooperative driving intelligent vehicles are affected by skills, physiological reactions, and other factors. Under emergency conditions, they often subconsciously forcefully take over control rights produce unreasonable stress steering, which brings new accident risks to vehicles. To avoid collisions, this paper proposes an collision avoidance strategy for In the path planning layer, considering obstacle distance, road adhesion coefficient, vehicle speed, steering wheel angle, driver’s linear cognition, a circular arc lane-change is designed. The curvature mutation smoothed using third-order Bezier function. tracking method additional yaw moment designed model predictive (MPC) algorithm track path. accuracy safety guaranteed only adjusting braking torque each vehicle, correct input when driver forces over. co-simulation results show that system can effectively during forced take-over, ensure steering.
